The Friday evening dance series, hosted by Friends of Waterfront Park at Pier 62, will focus on learning choreography to popular Hindi film dance songs. Each week, participants will dive into a new song and style. No previous dance experience is needed. The sessions will begin with some stretching and then step right into dance.

Geeta, the Founder and Artistic Director of Afsaana Dance, has been trained in both South Indian (Bharatnatyam) and North Indian (Kathak) classical dance styles, but her first love is Bollywood dance!

About the space: Pier 62 is an outdoor space in downtown Seattle providing various amenities such as seating, shade, water, cooling fans, and ADA accessible restrooms (see our accessibility webpage for a full list of resources). Waterfront Park is still under construction until 2025, accessible routes/navigation may be impacted.
