About Africatown's Summer of Soul series
The Summer of Soul series consists of four events in Seattle sponsored by Africatown Community Land Trust.
- Black Wall Street | Event celebrating the legacy of the once thriving African American business district in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- Juneteenth | A Day of music, food, and education honoring the resilience and resistance of our ancestors.
- Soul on the Water | A unique experience that combines the natural beauty of the Puget Sound with the soulful sounds of local musicians.
- Reunion on Union | Event celebrating community and culture in the heart of the Central District. Join for an afternoon of music and local food as we connect once again to the rich roots and history of our existence and to those who have laid groundwork for us to continue to build traditions that last generations.
