About this Spotlight
We’ve collaborated with ARTS at King Street Station gallery to bring local artists-in-residence Red Eagle Soaring, Rhapsody Project, and Totem Star to the waterfront.
Set on Seattle’s waterfront on Pier 62, enjoy a two-hour live performance of music, songs, and spoken stories of culture and heritage with the seas, mountains, and city as your backdrop!
Meet the Artists-in-Residence
Totem Star
Totem Star supports a diverse community of young recording artists learning music and life skills through mentorship and meaningful relationships. Their work in the studio and on the stage fosters growth in collaboration, leadership, and self-identity.
Red Eagle Soaring
Red Eagle Soaring is a Seattle non-profit organization serving urban Native American youth ages 10-19 with free programming, integrating contemporary theatre and traditional Native performing arts.
The Rhapsody Project
The Rhapsody Project is a community that explores and celebrates music and heritage through an anti-racist lens and builds community through their cultural roots.
They provide multiple programs providing young musicians in the greater Seattle area resources, experiences, community-building opportunities, classes, and more!

ARTS at King Street Station is a dynamic gallery space for arts and culture in the heart of the city dedicated to increasing opportunities for people of color to generate and present their work.
Housed above Seattle’s historic King Street Station, this 7,500-square-foot gallery and cultural space includes a studio for artists-in-residence and offices for the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture (ARTS).

Centrally located, Pier 62 is easily accessed from Alaskan Way, or from downtown via Overlook Walk.

About Pier 62: an outdoor space providing various amenities such as wheelchair accessible seating, shade, water, cooling fans, and ADA accessible restrooms.
