Interested in planning an event at Waterfront Park? We offer three pathways to activating the Park: Programming Roster, Rental or Park Use. Please review the criteria below for information that best fits with your request.

 

Pathways to Activate Waterfront Park

  • Best for local artists, performances, creatives, instructors and community organizations looking to partner with us in programming at Waterfront Park.
  • Note, this is different from renting space at Waterfront Park

Best for:

  • Private events
  • Corporate gatherings
  • Weddings
  • Large events over 150 participants
  • Commercial activities
  • Events with significant infrastructure needs (e.g., tents, staging, large-scale equipment)
  • Events lasting over 4 hours

Best for:

  • Smaller public gatherings
  • Community meet-ups
  • Small performances
  • Low-impact activations with minimula infrastructure needs (e.g., small pop-ups with no large structures)
  • Under 100 participants

Event Request Timelines

High-Impact Peak Season Events

  • Large-scale events during peak season, June through September
  • To ensure a vibrant and balanced park experience, high-impact events during peak season must be submitted during designated submission windows
  • June – September 2027 events: Submission window open through 12/31/2027

Standard Event Requests

  • Reviewed on a rolling basis

Programming Roster Applications

  • No deadline
  • Accepted as opportunities to partner arise
