About the Event
Join us on September 14 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Pier 62 for Golden Gathering! This is a FREE event featuring accessible activities and entertainment on Waterfront Park! We welcome all ages, especially those in their golden era to join! Step back in time to dance to past decades, learn about Seattle’s marine life, play board games, do arts and crafts, and enjoy live music from local artist, Randy Bowles. No RSVP is needed for this event.
What to Expect:
- Participate in a music and movement arts workshop highlighting community connection, engagement, and play. Open to all, with sessions designed for various accessibility needs. Celebrate cultures, decades, and history through music and low impact movement.
- Enjoy live folk music from Randy Bowles, a seasoned Seattle performer known for his all-original acoustic music and engaging storytelling.
- Engage in interactive activities about the marine life of Puget Sound with our friends from the Seattle Aquarium.
- Join us for board games, card games, and art activities like mahjong, dominos, Scrabble, button making, and painting.
- Speak Cantonese or Mandarin? Translators will be available to provide assistance.

About the space: Pier 62 is an outdoor space in downtown Seattle providing various amenities such as seating, shade, water, cooling fans, and ADA accessible restrooms (see our accessibility webpage for a full list of resources). Waterfront Park is still under construction until 2025, accessible routes/navigation may be impacted.
