Photo Policy

Friends of Waterfront Park (FWP) welcomes photography and videography that captures the beauty, vibrancy, and community spirit of our public spaces. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors, we ask that all photographers adhere to the following guidelines:

General Photography

  • Visitors are encouraged to take personal photos and videos for private use.
  • Photography and filming must not obstruct pathways, access points, or interfere with other visitors’ enjoyment of the park.
  • Drones are not permitted without prior written approval from FWP and compliance with local regulations.

Event Photography

  • Photos and videos may be taken during public events and programs hosted at the park. By attending, visitors consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes.
  • If you prefer not to be included in photos or videos, please inform event staff.

Respect & Privacy

  • Please respect the privacy of other park visitors. Do not photograph individuals without their consent, especially children.
  • Photography in restricted areas, staff-only spaces, or during private events without permission is prohibited.

Friends of Waterfront Park reserves the right to enforce these policies and request that individuals cease photography or videography if it disrupts the park experience for others. Friends owns and reserves the rights to uses the assets obtained on owned media properties, advertising channels and signage—including but not limited to website, social media, digital advertising. Note, these permissions extend to our programming and operational partners when they are speaking about Waterfront Park.
