About The Event

Friends of Waterfront Park proudly presents the fourth annual Waterfront Block Party, marking an exciting milestone on the road to the Grand Opening of Waterfront Park in 2025! Join our celebrations at Olympic Sculpture Park, Pier 62, Occidental Square, across the downtown waterfront to and enjoy live music, dance, parades, food trucks, family-friendly crafts, and more.

Join Friends of Waterfront Park for the official presentation of COLECTIVO at Friends of Waterfront Park’s Waterfront Block Party: Latin American Sound Experiences. Enjoy a curated lineup of DJs and visual artists representing different parts of Latin America throughout the evening.

Local food trucks will be available all day: Moe Vegan, Soul Fusion, and Kathmandu

Delicious frozen treats from Ma and Pop’s!

Brown Liquor Cocktail Co. will be serving beverages at the 21+ beer garden*

Free family-friendly activities include creating hand-held Jellyfish lanterns, hosted by Urban Artworks, and face painting by Hoopla

Explore the ocean and coral reefs through fun coral crafts and hands on artifacts with The Seattle Aquarium. Learn more about the Aquarium’s new Ocean Pavilion.

Spin the wheel to learn about Pike Place Market Foundation’s model for community health. Take home your very own Rachel the Piggy Bank pin and enter to win a prize basket from their Charitable Market Partners

Activities Starting at 12:00pm

12:00pm – 6:00pm

The Downtown Seattle Association/Metropolitan Improvement District will be co-presenting with Aqui Mercado, to present more than 45 vendors offering everything from handmade jewelry and vintage clothing to traditional hair braiding and flash tattoos at Occidental Square.

12:00pm – 2:00pm Bike over to Olympic Sculpture Park for an art making activity, hosted by The Bikery, creating bike safety ornaments. There will also be two bike mechanics on-site to assist with sprucing up bikes. Presented by Seattle Art Museum

2:00pm Join the public group bike ride from Olympic Sculpture Park, hosted by The Bikery, as they make their way down the waterfront to Occidental Square and enjoy the music and vendors. Presented by Seattle Art Museum

About the space: Pier 62 is an outdoor space in downtown Seattle providing various amenities such as seating, shade, water, cooling fans, and ADA accessible restrooms (see our accessibility webpage for a full list of resources). Waterfront Park is still under construction until 2025, accessible routes/navigation may be impacted.
