What an incredible few weeks it has been for our city, for Waterfront Park, and for the people that come together in this space.
Seattle is setting the standard for this World Cup—hosting nail-biting matches, watch parties and community celebrations that showed exactly why Seattle built this new gathering place on our shoreline. If you’ve joined us and our partners for a watch party on Pier 62 and the floating barge, or marched to the match from Pier 58 in support of your favorite teams, thank you for helping put Seattle’s best face forward as we welcome the world.
An even bigger thank you if you joined us for our any of our free programming during this stretch, including;
- Celebrating Juneteenth alongside a record 85,000 single-day guests at the Park;
- Attending “Seattle Shines,” our World Cup-only program spotlighting Seattle’s iconic neighborhoods and their distinct cultures to a global audience, and;
- Joyfully celebrating our LGBTQIA2S+ Indigenous community alongside 8,000 other attendees at the 5th Annual Indigiqueer Festival last Saturday—our biggest one yet!
None of that happens without support like yours. Pier Party is how we keep it going, and we want you there.
Pier Party is our signature summer fundraiser: a vibrant, open-air celebration on Pier 62, bringing together community, creativity, and the beauty of Waterfront Park. This “Sunset Disco” themed evening features incredible local food and drinks (included with the ticket!), live music, artist performances, and immersive experiences—all in support of free, year-round programming at Waterfront Park: the ASL interpretation, the accessible spaces, the free festivals and experiences that make this Park belong to everyone.
You helped make this summer what it was. As a way to say thanks, we are offering a 17% off discount, valid through July 5th, 2026 with code PIERPARTY26 at checkout!
Thanks for making us fall in love with Seattle all over again. See you on the Pier!
