Rooted in Deep Partnership

Spanning 20 acres from Belltown to Pioneer Square, Waterfront Park is Seattle’s largest investment in and transformation of civic space in decades-reimagining our shoreline with a new public space, public art and places to relax, play and reconnect with our city’s roots.

Waterfront Park is rooted in deep partnership between the City of Seattle’s Office of the Waterfront, Seattle Center, and Friends of Waterfront Park. Leading all design and construction efforts to reshape Seattle’s waterfront is the City’s Office of the Waterfront. Seattle Center provides maintainence and public safety services throughout Waterfront Park, including implementing a new four-tier public safety model focused on leading with social services. Friends of Waterfront Park is the non-profit responsible for mananaging, programming, and stewarding Waterfront Park.

This celebration marks the culmination of years of community vision, collaboration and investment, and we can’t wait to welcome you to experience it with us!
