Plankton Pals

Get hands-on with the invisible world of plankton! With the help of Seattle Aquarium experts, you’ll collect real-time samples from Elliot Bay and take a closer look using microscopes revealing the dazzling, drifting lifeforms the support our marine food web. Plankton come in thousands of different varieties, so we’re never sure exactly what we’ll find! Come curious, leave amazed.

SEA and Create

SEA and Create, a free community art-making series celebrating the vibrant connections between people, place, and the sea. Set against the stunning backdrop of Seattle’s waterfront, this hands-on program invites visitors of all ages to express their creativity while learning about local marine life, coastal ecosystems, and community stories.

About Pier 62 Amenities: an outdoor space providing various amenities such as wheelchair accessible seating, shade, water stations, cooling fans, and ADA accessible restrooms.
