Waterfront Park Firepit Socials

Come enjoy the warmth on the waterfront during winter, gather and socialize around our large firepit on the pier. Weather permitting!

Photo by Guy Michaelsen. Swing by Pier 62 on Sundays through March to enjoy an open wood fire in our new 10′ diameter fire pit, designed by Berger Partnership. It’s a great new way to connect with our beautiful natural environment, while staying cozy and festive. Fires will be lit an hour before sunset, and extinguished two hours after. The fire pit will be available weather permitting!

About the Program

Our Firepit Socials are informal weekend get-togethers with the community to enjoy sunsets and the warmth of a wood-burning firepit. These socials occur during the Pacific Northwest “big dark” months, bringing some light to the short, cold days.

As Pacific Northwesterners, we understand that outdoor activities might need to be cancelled due to inclement weather – these events are always weather permitting.

Fun fact: The firepit is 10 feet in diameter and designed by Berger Partnership.
