Join us for a spooky evening of salsa, bachata, music and community presented by the Port of Seattle.
All levels welcome! Welcome to Spooky Salsa & Boo‑Chata
Salsa and Bachata returns to Pier 66 for a spooky-themed evening of Latin music, dance and community.
Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking for a fun Halloween event, all dance levels are welcome! Costumes are encouraged, with a Spooky Salsa & Boo-Chata costume competition for those dressed up for the occasion. This event is indoor and outdoors (weather permitting).

Dance the Night Away at Pier 66
- Live Latin DJs playing a mix of salsa, bachata and other Latin dance music
- Professional dance instruction led by Sazón Dance Events—no experience necessary!
- Open dance floor for dancers of all ages and skill levels

Friends strives to ensure Waterfront Park, and our events are inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to everyone.
Waterfront Park is an outdoor space in downtown Seattle providing various amenities such as wheelchair accessible seating, shade, water stations, cooling fans, and ADA accessible restrooms.
