Friends of Waterfront Park invites you to Ren Xue Qigong sessions at Pier 62! Ren Xue is perfect for anyone looking to improve their physical and mental well-being. Ren Xue Qigong is a holistic practice that combines movement, breathing, and meditation to help you cultivate inner peace, balance, and vitality.
This class will be taught by certified Yuan Gong instructor, Heru TchaasAmen, who will help participants cultivate the 5 essential heart qualities: trust, openness, love, gratitude and gongjing (respect for all things). You will learn a variety of gentle movements and techniques designed to help you connect with your body and mind, release tension, and promote relaxation. With regular practice, Ren Xue Qigong can help boost your immune system, reduce stress, and improve your overall physical and mental health.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, this class is suitable for all levels. We invite you to come and experience the benefits of Ren Xue Qigong for yourself in a supportive and welcoming environment. Don’t miss this opportunity to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit.

About Heru
Heru TchaasAmen enjoys supporting people on their journey to discover their peaceful nature which allows them to unlock their potential to heal themselves, their families, and their communities. With the attainment of true peace one can maintain contentment in any situation. This allows an individual to have a greater chance at generating success in their endeavors.
He has a background in meditation, health and wellness, life coaching, and nutrition, which he pairs with REN XUE, Yuan Gong/Yuan Ming, and Qi-healing practice. He teaches one-on-one and group sessions to students of all ages, working with senior citizens, veterans experiencing PTSD, teens, and anyone who is interested in realizing holistic health and wellness and positive behavioral change.

About the space: Pier 62 is an outdoor space in downtown Seattle providing various amenities such as seating, shade, water, cooling fans, and ADA accessible restrooms (see our accessibility webpage for a full list of resources). Waterfront Park is still under construction until 2025, accessible routes/navigation may be impacted.
