Overflow with Indigiqueer Joy! Enjoy food, music, drag and more while coming together with the Queer Indigenous community to celebrate ourselves.
Presented as a part of the Indigiqueer Joy Campaign, the Indigiqueer Festival is curated by the Quileute drag queen Hailey Tayathy. Follow @HaileyTayathy, @2slgbtq, and @yehawshow on social media for performance announcements.
The Indigiqueer Joy campaign is a photography project and event series sponsored by the Paths Remembered Project at the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board. Festival Performers
Jack Malstrom aka Gila Spectrum (Akimel O’odham and Yaqui) is from Portland Oregon and isthe current Director of the Portland Two Spirit Society and a Native Adoptee and Two Spiritadvocate. They are also a part of UwU PDX a Queer and trans DJ collectivein Portland as wellas a drag cryptid performer.
Delia Gomez (Pascua Yaqui) is a local emo with an attitude problem. She enjoys reading, beading, andhurting people’s feelings.
Guma’ Gela’ is a queer Chamoru Art collective, a creative cultural space with members both inthe Mariana Islands and in the Pacific Northwest. Their motto: “Part land, part sea, all ancestry.”
Ramonda Holiday is a 39-year-old Navajo Transgendered woman originally from MonumentValley, Utah of the Navajo Nation. She is currently living and working in Albuquerque, NewMexico. She grew up in the church singing and writing gospel music. Ramonda struggled with substance and alcohol abuse, sex work, and experienced homeless for many years, but shehas been completely sober since November 22, 2017. Ramonda’s original music includes her first R&B album titled, “the Rez Hummingbird” which has been nominated for a Native AmericanMusic Awards (NAMA) category including Best R&B Album, Blues Album, and BestContemporary Vocals of 2022. This is the beginning of telling her story of redemption through her music and healing. Hear her music live at the Indigiqueer Festival.

Organizer and host of the Indigiqueer Festival, Hailey Tayathy is a member of the Quileute Nation and Seattle’s premier Native American drag queen. Tayathy uses their queer Native experiences to inform their unique brand of drag through which they aim to bring healing toIndigenous communities and to show everyone that Indigiqueers are still here and are stronger and more beautiful than colonizer minds can imagine. Join them all afternoon hosting andperforming at the festival.

Aiyana Reid (Cowlitz) is a trans fluid dancer, jewelry creator, regalia maker, and siren to Seattle sailors. Aiyana recently graduated from Cornish with a BFA in dance and plans to continue making art that seeks to align herself, and those who are reached in the pursuit, with the beauty and life force she has been raised within. Catch a new dance creation and some other shiny things this Saturday.

fabian romero (Purepécha) is a two spirit poet, filmmaker, artist and P.h.D. student in Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies at the University of Washington. fabian’s academic and artistic interests integrate settler colonialism, Performance Studies, racial capitalism with storytelling and poetry.
Koko is from Yakima Washington. She performed around the Olympia and Yakima Area and loves toincorporate mental health and Indigenous issues into her performances to raise awareness. Koko isalso thankful for all of her supporting her as she celebrates 10 years of doing drag this month.

It likes to make music that gets people to dance, as we all spend too much time talking. she blends music from her upbringing and peoples, as well as reggae, dub, hip hop, rnb, soul, edm and house.they believe they should not be limited to any one medium, as there is more.there is more to me. there is more to us. there is more. Friends of Waterfront Seattle
Friends of Waterfront Seattle (“Friends”) is the nonprofit partner to the City of Seattle responsible for helping to fund, build, steward, and program the park — today and into the future. In deep collaboration with individuals, communities, and institutional partners, Friends’ mission is creating, caring for, and activating a renewed place on Seattle’s central shoreline to connect — to the water, to the mountains, to our city, and to one another. In addition to raising $110M by 2024 to fund park construction, Friends will provide funding and manage the programming and operations of the future Waterfront Park through a joint-delivery partnership with Seattle Parks & Recreation.
