Event Production and Operations Manager

The new position of Event Production and Operations Manager reports to the Director of Operations. This role provides strategic operational expertise on event execution, staff utilization and resource optimization for Friends of Waterfront events. This position requires continual demonstration of core competencies in effective event operations management, maintaining a quality guest experience, and building strong interdepartmental collaboration. This role manages and supports all activities planned, with various levels of complexity. This is a high-volume environment where work productivity, efficiency, and effective communication skills are a must. This position also provides subject matter expertise to departments hosting events or other activations representing Friends of Waterfront, and ensures Friends’ diversity, equity and inclusion values are upheld and advanced in the production of events.
