Join Seattle Aquarium experts as they uncover the amazing life which hides in every drop of seawater: Plankton!

Join Seattle Aquarium experts as they uncover the amazing life which hides in every drop of seawater: plankton! Plankton comes in thousands of different varieties, so we’re never sure exactly what we’ll find during this program. Seattle Aquarium staff will bring special equipment to collect plankton, as well as microscopes to observe. We can guarantee you’ll see something truly unexpected and maybe even something Aquarium staff have never seen before!

The class will be held outdoors with a limit of 20 participants at a time. Participants will be selected to get hands on with the program in the order they arrive. Masks are required for unvaccinated participants. This program is held outdoors, so please dress for the weather.

Location: Pier 62
