What is DropSound at Pier 62? Pier 62 turns into your own private studio while you’re surrounded by people between City & Sound. With DropSound noise-reducing headphones, fitness goers can enjoy their own personal practice, free of outside noises and distractions. It’s just you, the music, and the instructor.

In this beginner-to-intermediate class, you will be guided through a series of yoga poses that link breath and continuous movement as well as strengthening holds as we build to a “peak pose.”

This class is designed to be suitable for both beginners looking to get their feet wet and experienced yogis looking for a challenge. End your practice on a great note with a guided mediation using DropSound headphones that enable you to block out the world while only hearing the instructor and music. You don’t need to be an expert at meditation. Focusing on your breath is all you need to connect with yourself and find the stillness you are looking for right now.

To safely participate, we require participants to be injury free and in reasonably good health. Arrive promptly to secure your spot. The class will be held outdoors. Completing an on-site waiver and social distancing is required. Youth must participate with an adult, no drop offs. Participants are asked to arrive 20 mins before class, dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle.
