Disfrute 60‑minutos de yoga bilingüe. | Enjoy 60‑minute bilingual yoga classes. 

¡Intente yoga bilingüe apropiado para todos los niveles de experiencia! Las sesiones se realizarán tanto en inglés como en español — haciendo las posiciones por un lado en inglés y de ahi hacemos la serie en español del otro lado. No necesita ser experto en ninguno de los dos idiomas para disfrutar yoga bilingüe, solo curiosidad, felicidad y la voluntad para aprender algo nuevo! Vas a explorar varias posiciones (asanas) técnicas de respiración (pranayama)  y/o mejorar su entendimiento de uno de los idiomas utilizados para estas sesiones.

Experience bilingual yoga appropriate for all levels of experience! The sessions will be held in both English and Spanish — experience the poses on one side in English then we do the series in Spanish on the other side. You don’t need to be proficient in either language in order to enjoy bilingual yoga, just a curiosity, joy, and willingness to learn something new! You’ll get to explore various poses (asanas)  breathing techniques (pranayama), and/or improve your understanding of one of the languages used to instruct these sessions.

Check-in begins at 5:45pm. Please arrive promptly to secure your spot. The class will be held outdoors. Waivers are required. Pre-registration is encouraged, but drop-ins are still welcome. Dress comfortably for the weather, bring a yoga mat, and water bottle.

Meet the Instructor: Brenda Umana

A Brenda le encanta compartir las practicas de yoga y meditacion. Como profesora de yoga registrada de 500 horas con una Maestría en Salud Pública de la Universidad de Columbia, Brenda tiene la misión de promover la importancia de la salud y el bienestar, y compartir la práctica del yoga con estudiantes que buscan comprender mejor su mente y cuerpo. Brenda es una hablante nativa de español, nacida en Los Ángeles, CA; su familia y raíces son de El Salvador.


Brenda is passionate about sharing the mindfulness practices of yoga and meditation with everyone. As a 500-hour registered yoga teacher with a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University, Brenda is on a mission to promote all facets of health and well-being, and share the practice of yoga with students looking to better understand their mind and body. Brenda is a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA — her family and lineage are from El Salvador.
