305 Fitness Dance Cardio

305 Fitness is a 45-minute non-stop cardio party featuring fun, easy-to-follow dance moves and toning for your core and glutes. No dance experience required. You’ve never had this much fun working out. With music mixes curated from NYC DJs, this class is perfect for music lovers and open to all levels. Get ready to sweat, shake, and smile for days! All you need is a pair of sneakers and an open mind. You don’t need to be a dancer to #MakeSweatSexy.

Jump in and dance, no equipment needed. For safety, participants should be injury-free and in reasonably good health. Please arrive promptly to complete a waiver and secure your spot.

Fabienne Beard-Wright’s Power Soca classes, a unique Lift Off Special Programming creation, are also offered on Thursdays in June, 7:30pm – 8:15 at Pier 62. Learn more here.

Staff regularly monitor waterfront conditions in coordination with instructors and will post to social media as well as notify any registrants via Eventbrite prior to event times whenever possible. Meet the Instructor: Fabienne Beard‑Wright

Fabienne Beard-Wright is a powerhouse in the collective fields of education and the creative arts. As a native New Yorker brought up on the performing arts, she strongly believes in the arts as a catalyst for social change. Fabienne was trained in the dance styles of West African, Caribbean Soca, and Modern. She possesses over 15 years of experience and has shared the stage with The Harlem School of the Arts (1995-2000), The Bill-T Jones Company (2002), Boys and Girls Harbor Conservatory (2004), Gestures Dance Ensemble (2006), MARILYN & SEKOU SYLLA (Smith College 2010). Coming from a long line of educators, Fabienne attended college for Education and Performance Theater and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College. Shortly thereafter, she established Lift Off Special Programming, Inc. a means of dedicating her life to nurturing young minds of tomorrow through the arts, providing access to artistic resources, and enhancing the engagement of creative development. Fabienne’s programs are known for their level of intentionality and energy that is unmatched. She is the go-to for motivation and warmth: clients feel transformed after every class.
